I’m so glad you have made the decision to work on your health and wellbeing. You are worth it! Nutrition therapy not only involves addressing what you eat, but also how you think and feel about food and your body. As you may have already read on the website, this is not a one size fits all approach. I will strive to understand your needs, preferences, and goals in order to offer realistic and personalized support for your food and body concerns.
Because our habits are deeply engrained, making changes that will last a lifetime occurs in stages and often takes time. People often wonder how many times we’ll need to meet. That entirely depends on the purpose of our meeting, your goals, your readiness to change, what support systems you have in place, and many other factors. While it might not be possible to answer that question definitely, here’s what you can expect.
Initial Session: 90 minutes
Lifestyle and nutrition assessment, baseline goal setting and development of nutrition and/or exercise care plan based on your needs.
Follow-Up Sessions: 45 minutes
During our follow-up sessions we will continue to talk through your personal goals, revise our care plan as needed, talk through medical labs as needed, identify additional resources that might be helpful to you (i.e. supplements, books, podcasts, referrals to other professionals, etc.) The decision to continue meeting will be a shared one but ultimately you will decide what is most helpful for you.
Appointments will be held at 1100 Quail Street in Suite 111. There is an ample amount of complimentary parking available around the building. Once you enter the building, proceed to Suite 111.
