What is Non-Diet?

I'm 2 days late for International No Diet Day, but that's about how things go on what feels like the 3,456th day of quarantine, working from home, and crisis schooling! .

International No Diet Day is about rejecting diets, diet culture and all of the false promises associated.

So what does it mean to be non-diet?

I see non-diet as an approach to eating and well-being that is rooted in personal choice, satisfaction, and freedom from rigid food rules. It's taking brave steps toward self-acceptance, despite longing for a different body size. Rejecting diet culture takes courage. The freedom that results is worth it.

What braves steps have you taken to reject diet culture's oppressive ways?
